The 2015-2016 Jaguar Yearbooks have arrived from the publisher and are available for purchase. They are $25 each and can be purchased in the GCSD business office from Cynthia Fox or by contacting Trent Van Meter. We can accept $25 cash or check made out to Guthrie Common School District.

Parents and students are asked to review the attached list (below) as they do their back-to-school shopping. Teachers request that students in elementary grades put their names on all the supply items.
We have received word that due to the possibility of wet weather, the Elementary Track Meet at Aspermont on Thursday has been canceled.
The library will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
If you are coming from out of town, please call ahead to make sure someone is here. Summer Reading Programs begin Wednesday, June 20, 2016 and run through Wednesday, July 13, 2016. The field trip is scheduled for Wednesday, July 20, 2016. Group attendance is designed for grades from recent 15/16 school year. But, with families that have a hard time attending all afternoon, anyone is welcome any group time! Pre-School 1:00-1:45 K & 1 2:00-2:45 2 & 3 3:00-3:45 4 & 5 4:00-4:45 The focus of the Guthrie Fundamental Basketball Camp is to introduce beginning players to the basic fundamentals of basketball in a fun and encouraging environment and to challenge and further develop individual and team skills. This camp will provide opportunities to learn and excel for all campers, regardless of students' basketball backgrounds.
The camp will be May 30-June 2 (Monday through Thursday) from 9:00am until 12:00pm each day. Its designed for kids in Kindergarten through 6th Grade (next year's grades) regardless of students' basketball backgrounds. The cost of the camp is $50 and includes an awesome camp t-shirt. That team consisted of Abby Gilbert, Morgan Atkinson, Kaleb Brendle, and Candace Tarver. Also, congratulations to the Junior Horse Quiz Bowl Team which placed 4th out of 23 teams. That team consisted of Aubrey O'Neal, Hanna McCulloch, Brandon Sweeney, and Kara Briggs. Congratulations Jags and Lady Jags!
